| On November 9, 1989, the salon started business at Almanza Uno, Las Piñas City with the name “Highlights Salon”. When asked why the name Highlights was used, it is because it speaks of the part of your body that you wanted to be treated or given attention. It started with only two seats in a small space and expanded into an 8 seater, after a year, adding more space to accommodate more clienteles. After 7 years, the owner, Mr. Angelo Falconi III saw the need to specialize in hair colouring and provide the professional way of colouring the hair to its growing clienteles. And in 1996, Mr. Angelo transformed the ordinary salon into the first and only Hair Colouring Center in Las Piñas and in the country as well, adding to it’s name a new statement, “THE HAIR COLOURING AND STYLING CENTER”, geared to professionalize its services by continuously studying (by attending trainings here and abroad) and making use of World-Class Salon Products. It was in 2001 that a new outlet, carrying the same name has emerged but with a new looks catering both men and women merging the salon and the barber shop into one to cater the Filipino family. On December 10, 2002, the main salon moved another step forward, adding a new specialty in it’s service – MAKE-UP, using only the owner’s name as the salon’s new name. But still, it maintained wide range of salon services like perming, manicure and pedicure, foot spa, scalp scrub, Aromatherapy treatment, body massage and other personalized treatment. The salon’s success in providing fine services made a mark among the Las Piñeros mind and other fine clienteles coming from different places in the Philippines. It has become a salon where they want to go and bring their “balikbayan” relatives when they want to be sure of an honest, professional, high quality and international standard services. |
